Marrakech the red city of morocco

I always loved to visit Marrakech, this city holds for me many memories. I had the chance to discover it many times with family and friends also. It’s the city that will never fail to amaze the tourists in all the seasons. Today’s article is dedicated to this beautiful city and I’m going to share with you few of my favorite’s pictures taken in the Red city.

What do I love about marrakech ?

I would say, the people in the first place. You will find joyful people everywhere, happy and ready to make your day by a beautiful smile, good music “Dakka Marakchia” a well-known musical form.

Yes, the people are great, but what makes Marrakech the most desired city by tourists is Food. Marrakech is the best location to find some great eating options. There are many French style cafés, bistros, and restaurants. The food stalls at the Djemaa el Fna are a must try that offer many inexpensive Moroccan style traditional cuisines.

Last but not least, the secrets (the unique places, art..)  that this city keeps under wraps.

The pictures above are a mix of moments that I really loved and appreciated. The sunset, the shops of traditional lamps lighting up jamaa el fna and let’s not forget about bikes, the most used vehicle in the red city.

What's my favorite Place in The red city ?

                                                             Majorelle garden

The most colorful place you can find in Marrakech, a garden that gathers art and nature in one place.

The Majorelle Garden was designed by the French artist, Jacques Majorelle (1886-1962), he travelled to Marrakech and like many of his contemporaries, fell in love with the vibrant colors and street life he found there. After travelling around North Africa and the Mediterranean, he eventually decided to settle permanently in Marrakech.

The gardens and buildings form a complex, where specific buildings are dedicated to various museums and exhibits of interest to visitors. The gardens, which cover two and half acres, are open to the public daily and house an important collection of cacti and sculpture.
